The leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Ibraheem El Zakzaky and his wife, Zeenat have finally embarked on a journey to India where he is to undergo treatment.

However, it was learnt that both El Zakzaky and his wife, were escorted by heavily armed men of the Department of State Services(DSS) on Monday,  to Abuja where he would depart to India in a Chartered plane suspected to have been provided by the government of Iran through members of the IMN.

The IMN leader as his wife was also accompanied by some officials of the security services, including medical personnel.
