Verifly has announced their plan to launch Uber helicopter operation in Lagos by April this year.

This was contained in a post made available via a LinkedIn page of the country's business development director, Ndubuisi Ekwkwe, who said that his company will be pioneering Uber Helicopter, to commence business in April.

According to him, the helicopter will fly from Victoria Island (VI) to Ikeja and vice versa. It also added Lagos to Ibadan and Ibadan to Lagos to its routes, promising that more routes will be added as time goes on.

Ndubusi didn't speak on what the charges will look like and if passengers will book their flight schedule through the normal Uber application or not, but it is believed that more details will emerge soon.
