University of Abuja has held the Pre-event and Colour Pop Carnival Activation ahead of preparations for the 2020 Edition of the Annual Carnival which has been postponed a month ahead coronavirus fears. The Uniabuja Colour Pop took place in the school premises at the Convocation Ground, on the 5th of March with records of activities that were quite entertaining and engaging.

The Carnival Activation witnessed the participation and presence of personalities and Abuja based celebrities, including the Son of Archbishop Sam Amaga, Bishop Elect Isaiah Sam Amaga Jr, The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Umar Kari, Most Beautiful Girl In Abuja, Her Majesty, Queen Jennifer Francis, amongst other notable personalities, CEOs, Students, Lecturers and invited Guests.
During the pre-event and Color Pop Carnival Activation, students of different Faculties were selected for camping, an activity that is part of the Uniabuja Carnival Event until the main event which was postponed from 25th March 2020 to a later date by the school management following FG School closure orders over rising coronavirus epidemic in Nigeria.

The selected candidates for the Uniabuja Ambassadors 2020 were kept in camp for few days and were engaged in orientations, lecture discussions and practical social associations, by resources persons. The selected Uniabuja Ambassadors 2020 will be agents of prospective change and morals in the institution and across the nation after the grand finale.
According to reports, the increasing anticipation for main event of Unibuja Carnival 2020 has attracted several reactions, especially as it will record the distinguished presence of notable national personalities, Nollywood frontliners and showbiz Executives including personalities like Nigeria popular Nollywood Diva, Actress Regina Daniels and her billionaire husband, Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko.
