About us
Central Market Kubwa was officially opened for commercial purposes on 1st July, 2020. The commissioning was performed by the executive chairman of Bwari Area Council, Hon. Dr. John Gabaya.  In terms of spatial capacity Central Market Kubwa is one of the largest markets in the Federal Capital Territory, and, by far, the largest market in Bwari Area Council. It has more than 900 shops and a large parking space for more than 500 cars at any given time. The Central Market Kubwa is very few poles away from the Kubwa Train Station. Passengers travelling to Kaduna and those coming to Abuja from Kaduna often visit the Central Market Kubwa for their shopping. 

Objectives
The primary objectives of Central Market Kubwa are:
1. To bring goods and services closer to the Abuja community at affordable and convenient prices.
2. To create an enabling working environment to the Abuja community.
3. To create job and working opportunity to the immediate  community; and, by so doing
4. To contribute to the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goal 8, which is "Decent work and economic growth".
