Few days ago, the Honourable Member representing Oyi/Anyamelum Federal Constituency of Anambra State, Hon. Vincent Ofumelu was decorated with Best Performing New Legislator of the Year at Igbere TV Leadership Excellence Award at Sheraton Hotels and the Future Leadership Award of Excellence at 2020 National Peace Awards and was presented a Certificate of Patron of Messengers of Peace-MOP organisation. He was honoured with the prestigious Peace award in Abuja, at his office in the National Assembly.
Speaking Abuja Press few days ago, Hon. Vincent Ofumelu in his Xmas message to Nigerians and especially the people of Oyi/Anyamelum Constituency expressed his season compliments, as he called on Nigerians to remain committed to making our nation a better and greater nation, as he emphasis on citizens adherence to the new covid19 guidelines, as they celebrate the yuletide season.
He was decorated as Patron and honoured with the reputable National Peace Awards and Leadership Excellence awards for his earnest contribution in areas of supporting peace in his Constituency, State and across Nigeria. Speaking during the award presentation, Hon. Ofumelu appreciated the Messengers of Peace Organization for considering him worthy of such a distinguished recognition and appointment as Patron of the Organization.
He however expressed appreciation to God almighty for the levels of development which his administration has been able to provide for the people of Oyi/Anyamelum constituency in Anambra state. He however promised to ensure the provision of responsive policies to promote sustainable development in the constituency.
The delegation from Messengers of Peace Organization congratulated Hon. Vincent and encouraged him to remain a crusader for peace, across all sectors considering his capacity and affluence. However, Hon. Vincent has continue to bag several distinguished awards and recognitions for her earnest services to the people
