Media expert and poet, Godspower Oshodin has resigned his appointment with the Atiku Care Foundation.
This was contained in a Disclaimer notice personally signed by the former Media Director of the Organisation, on Wednesday, February 3rd 2021.
According to the former leader of the Organisation; "This is to bring to the notice of the general public and my ardent followers that, I, Godspower Oshodin has relinquished my position as National Director, Media and Publicity of the Atiku Care Foundation, ACF, as such, going forward I would no longer wish to be addressed in the light of the office or be associated with the organization.
"As an individual driven by humanitarian causes, I have represented my country, Nigeria, for a host of United Nations SDG projects, as such, the core of my purpose remains targeted toward
developmental projects that will continue to restore hope to the human race".
"Since October 2020, when I was appointed into the office mentioned above, I have carefully observed the leadership of the organization as it is presently constituted and I came to a conclusion that her leadership runs an agenda that is parallel to the values that H.E. Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, GCON, represents.
"It is pertinent to state univocally, that my loyalty remains with H.E. Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and I'll continually lend my support to his vision of revitalising grassroot and community engagement through his penchant for Leadership, and driving a force for 'One Nigeria'", he stated further.
In conclusion, the former ACF leader expressed his appreciation to the Leadership of ACF for earlier appointing him.
"In conclusion, I wish to express my appreciation to the Leadership of ACF for deeming me worthy to serve in such capacity. It has indeed been a privilege, howbeit, I am not convinced that my image as an international media practitioner can be committed to promoting the agendas of the organization as it is currently being run", the statement read.
