Angry protesters of Gauraka community in Tafa Local Government Area of Niger State, on Monday morning, blocked the Abuja-Kaduna highway to protest over recurring Kidnapping and attacks happening within the axis.
According to one of protesters, about 30 persons from the community are currently in kidnappers' den, and that their abductors are demanding a huge ransom.
Gauraka community is located along Abuja-Kaduna highway.
It was gathered that the protesters are taking their demonstrations beyond normal as they burnt tyres and halted vehicular movement on the highway.
