In what can be better described as technical knockout, Chief Dr George Muoghalu the Director Nigerian Inland Water Ways and APC leading aspirant in Anambra 2021 has approached the Court to delist Sen. Dr. Andy Uba as APC flag bearer.

Report reads:

While PDP and APGA in Anambra state returned to the drawing board after the conflicting and flying court orders and judgements from different courts on Monday, the battle has shifted to APC Anambra state.

AIF Media gathered that the Dr George Moughalu, who was an aspirant to the botched June 26 primary election has dragged APC and Andy Uba before the Federal High Court, Abuja over an alleged failure of the party to conduct a valid primary election for the selection\nomination of the party's candidate in the November 6 governorship election in Anambra State.

Moghalu is asking the Court to delist Andy Uba and APC from the November 6 Anambra state governorship election. He specifically asked the court to declare that the APC failed to conduct a valid primary election on June 26, 2021.

Moughalu in his suit demanded the sum of 122 million naira as damages from the APC. He is demanding the refund of the 22 million naira he used in purchasing the party's nomination forms and 100 million naira spent on other logistics on the course of his campaigns for the botched primary election.

Importantly, Moughalu told the court that apart from INEC whose report stated that APC did not conduct primary election on June 26, that the APC Appeal Panel Committee headed by Gov Inuwa Yaya of Gombe state also stated in their own report that APC did not conduct primaries in Anambra state on June 26.

With the report of both INEC and APC Appeal Panel, it is over for the party to have a candidate or participate in the November 6 Anambra state governorship election.

APC is completely out of the election.
