Founder of Enugu Adoration Ministry, Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka has asked one of the governorship contestants in Anambra State, Prof Charles Soludo to drop his ambition, predicting that he would fail.

Speaking Wednesday at the Adoration ground Mbaka advised the former Central Bank Governor to back out of the contest or get disgrace at the polls.

Hear him: "I called Soludo and said you are my very good friend; Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, I have been sent to tell you not to run for governor because you will fail.

"If you contest and fail I don't know what else you will run for.

"Keep your prestige, your honour, your divinely acquired intergrity, your professional reputation; go to the world bank get a job there.

"I warned him but he didn't listen, he said he is sure of victory. I got his wife's number and called her; she was in London. I said this is what I told your husband

"We back you with prayers and you stayed and completed your assignment at the Central Bank. The first Igbo man to be Governor of Central Bank; we prayed fasted for him, but he came back and joined politics. For about one hour I urged the wife to discourage him.

"But the people he chose to listen, pastors and what have you who surrounds him told him that he will win.

"I also called another of my friends Ibeto not to put his money into Soludo's guber project but he said Fr. Mbaka, Soludo must win."
