Few hours ago, the Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria (AGPMPN) honoured notable Personalities and distinguished individuals who have made indelible contributions towards promoting and improving the health sector in Nigeria. The recognition and honour was held during the Centenary Dinner and Award Night hosted at the Africa Hall, International Conference Center, Abuja.
According to Reports, Anambra state leading Governorship Candidate, who is a triple Professor of Medicine and an International Medical doctor, as well as a Philanthropist and Politician, Dr. Godwin Maduka was amongst the notable Personalities who was honoured at the event, but was humbly represented by his fellow, Doctor Obinna Anikwe and his personal assistant Alex Nwankwo Nigerian at the Centenary Dinner Anniversary held in Abuja.
The occasion witnessed the recognition and presence of "A' list Personalities in Nigerian and especially key stakeholders in the Nigeria health sector. The occasion was honoured by H.E Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, the Distinguished Guest of Honour, Mr. Boss Mustapha, the Chief Guest of Honour and amongst other notable Personalities.
The award was preceded by a national dialogue on healthcare delivery, which was chaired by a former Senate President, Sen. Ken Nnamani, as it also recognised other top-notch Personalities which includes former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, HE Kayode Fayemi, H.E Nyesome Wike, Sir Dr. Adebutu, Nigerian Footballer Kanu Nwankwo, amongst several other persons who have made earnest contributions towards advancing developments in the health sector.
In an exclusive conversation with the Accord Candidate and leading Governorship hopeful in the forthcoming Anambra State Governorship elections, Dr. Godwin Maduka, few moment after the award event, he expressed appreciation and gratitude to Nigerian Doctors and the entire management of The Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria (AGPMPN). He thanked them for the recognition and assured them of his continuous commitments in the growth and development of the Nigeria Health Sector.
