Okosisi Orumba while addressing the Reverend Fathers explained that his reason for volunteering to Govern Anambra state is to work for God and not for personal gain unlike other candidates. In his words "I'm touched by the plight of ndi Anambra and that is the reason I'm striving to be the Governor so I will replicate what I have done in my community Umuchukwu in every community in Anambra state."
Reverend Father Linus Iloegesi in his vote of thanks, described Dr. Godwin Maduka as Mr. Evidence.He reminded them that Dr. Godwin Maduka has no Godfather and prayed for God to crown him with success on the 6th of November.
Dr. Godwin Maduka moved with his entourage to condole with HRH Barrister Emeka Onuorah,Igwe Chinyelu Eze Oraukwu Kingdom over the death of his mother,late Mrs Edith Onuorah who died at the age of 84.
In his remarks, Dr. Maduka said "under my watch as Governor you don't toy with traditional institutions. Any town without Igwe is directionless.
Nobody should meddle with the affairs of Ndi Igwe as it's supposed to be sacred"
Igwe Chinyelu Eze thanked Dr. Godwin Maduka for identifying with him at this period of mourning.
He promised to support Dr. Godwin Maduka's movement to Agu Awka.
