One of Nigeria's most recognised monthly national publication prominently known as Papyrus Magazine has announced its readiness and concluded preparation to host the 6th annual edition of the forthcoming double honour and award ceremony tagged "Local Government Chairman Awards" and the prestigious "Distinguished CEO Awards" in few days. The monumental award event will be held on the Saturday 20th of November 2021 at Ladi Kwali Hall, Sheraton Hotels and Towers Abuja.



According to Hon. Chief Doofan Abu-Amali, the Publisher of Papyrus Magazine, he told our Correspondent that the Papyrus Magazine Special Recognition Awards, Distinguished CEO Awards and Local Government Chairman Award will be honouring, recognising and decorating notable persons across diverse sectors and industries who have performed excellently in their various leadership roles, thereby supporting the growth and development of Nigeria. The occasion will equally record the massive presence of renowned personalities from across Nigeria and Africa.


Some of the confirmed Awardees for the 2021 Special Recognition Award are Dr. Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha, Former First Lady Imo State and Founder of Woodi as "Woman of the Decade" Award, Fatou Saine Gaye, CEO Gaye Njorro Skills Academy as "Champion of African Youths Empowerment" Award, Abioye Oke, CEO of Lifestyle Asset Hub as "Africa Champion of Affordable Housing" Awards and amongst others.


Our Correspondent also confirmed the Local Government Chairman Awards of Papyrus Magazine will also honour the likes of Jon. James Pukuma, the Executive Chairman of Hong Local Government, Adamawa State for "Sustainable Rural Development", Hon. Inuwa Zangina Dangada, the Executive Chairman of Bagwai Local Government Kano State for "Excellent Approach on Security, Hon. Surv. Iniobong Ekpenyong, the Executive Chairman of Uruan Local Government in Akwa Ibom State as "Best Performing Local Government Chairman for Community Development" and Hon. Nimizuoa Uroupaye JP, the Executive Chairman of Yenagoa Local Government in Bayelsa State for Excellence in Infrastructural Development".
