The National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN Coordinator in Orumba South, Anambra State, Comrade Casmir Chibuike Orie has been given award of recognition as the Most Performing Coordinator of the Council in the entire Southern Nigeria. 

The award organised by Office of the National Deputy President, Amb Innocent Nduanya took place in HD Genesis, Awka the Anambra State capital. 

In a social media post on Thursday shortly after the recognition, Comrade Casmir Orie who expressed gratitude for the honour said it comes with it comes with fulfillment for promised delivered during his electioneering campaign. 

He said, "This award to me comes with much fulfilment of promise delivered to the Youths of Orumba South as I promised prior to our Election to move Orumba South from Last in the State to First. But this time, it's not just in Anambra State but the whole of Southern Nigeria.

"I dedicate this August award to all the Youths of Orumba South LG as well as our Stakeholders who have really been of total support to the Youths. To my ever supportive Excos and Community Reps, I appreciate greatly. 2022 holds better.'

Comrade Casmir Chibuike Orie had recently organized Miss Orumba Beauty Pageant which assembled young ladies from the local government to square it out in a beauty contest. 

The contest which took place at Las Pinas hotel Umunze Anambra State produced Miss Petra Oluoma Emechebe from Ogboji as the winner while Miss Egemba Joyce Chibuonu from Eziagu came as the first runner up. 

Nawfija born Nkechinyere Augustina came as the second runner up. 

Comrade Casmir Chibuike Orie who had since expressed gratitude to individuals and organizations who contributed to the success of the contest noted that it came out to be the biggest beauty contest in the local government.
