The people of Eziagu community in Orumba South local government area of Anambra State have congratulated their daughter, Miss Egemba Joyce Chibuonu for emerging the first runner up as Miss Tourism in the just concluded Miss Orumba Beauty Pageant in Anambra, saying the community is proud of her.
"More than your poise and beauty, you are a cut above the rest with your grace and elegance that exemplifies a true woman of substance and an inspiring Ada Eziagu" the community said in a congratulatory letter obtained by our correspondent.
Describing her as a shining star, Eziagu in the congratulatory letter signed by Mr. Ifeanyichukwu noted that Miss Joyce represented the community well despite not grabbing the crown.
The community insists that with her performance while the contest lasted, the first runner up had won the hearts of people of Eziagu and Orumba.
"You were a portrait of beauty and perseverance on stage, and gave the pageant your best.
"With or without the crown, you already have won the hearts of the Ndi Orumba and Eziagu in general" the statement concluded.

At the contest which took place at Las Pinas Hotel Umunze Anambra State, 16 contestants slugged it out in a keenly exercise.
She stood out with her traditional lion skin costume during the Miss Orumba Pageant.
Miss Egemba Joyce Chibuonu had also emerged the second runner up at the recently concluded Miss Tourism.
