A whopping sum of N200,000 has been staked as star prize in the Senator Stella Oduah science education scheduled to commence soon.

Oduah, representing Anambra North at the Senate expressed concern that the culture of science education is rapidly depleting, insisting that there is need to revive it.

The competition which is in collaboration with Max Life Foundation will take off in Anambra North before being replicated state-wide.

This exercise targeted at reviving the study of science among secondary school students in line with the 21st century demands will also have first runner up walk home with N100,000 while the second runner up will part with N50,000 and other consolation prizes.

The lawmaker expressed optimism that this will go a long way in reviving science and technology education.
