It was a day of jubilation and excitement as the founder, Enemona Josh Humanitarian Foundation, Amb Gabriel Enemona Onoja was honoured with the award of Unsung Philanthropist. 

The award was presented to him on stage by former presidential candidate Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim at the 2022 Philanthropy Awards which took place at Sheraton Hotels Abuja at the weekend. 

Onoja is a renowned humanitarian who has for a long time impacted lives through his philanthropic activities. 

His organization which was recently officially unveiled in Abuja amidst cheers and excitement said it is poised to touch the lives of less privileged Nigerians for good. 

The organisation also signed as its brand Ambassadors, Nollywood actor Ken Erics and singer Abigail. 

As an indication of the organisation's readiness to achieve its set goals and fulfil its contract agreement with its newly unveiled ambassadors, it presented a cheque of 12 million to Ken Erics while 2 million cheque was presented to the female Nigerian artist from Kogi, Abigail. 

The prestigious Unsung Philanthropist award did not come to many as a surprise as he has stamped his feet in sands of time as one outstanding succour-giver in the Nigerian society and beyond. 

Others who were honoured with award of recognition include, Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh, politician Hon. Aminu Ayuba,  Kebbi State 1st Lady Dr. Zainab Bagudu, Ms Rita Oyoku, Hon. Tijani Damisa, Charles Offoboche, Chief Dr. Chetachi Ecton, Hon. Prince Dr. Uchechukwu Nnam-Obi and a host of others
