All is now set for the funeral of late elder statesman, Charles Obiefuna Umeanolue who passed on on the 26th June, 2022 at the age of 82.

The says the death of their patriarch, father, husband, grand father uncle and brother, popularly known as as Mpozer comes with a heavy heart in their minds.

A burial arrangement released on behalf of the family by his son, Henry Umeanolue says there will be a service of songs at his residence, New Zion, Mpozer Villa in Onaku Amakwulu Ezinifite, Aguata local government area of Anambra on Thursday, September 22, 2022.

His body will depart Apex Mortuary Igboukwu to his home town Onaku Amakwulu Ezinifite, for lying in state at his compound on Friday, September 23, 2022.

A funeral service will be held in his honour after which he will be laid to rest.

The family will hold a thanksgiving service on Sunday, September 25 at Lord's Chosen Revival Charismatic Ministries, Ezinifite Aguata local government area of Anambra State.

He is survived by a wife, children, sisters and relatives, among whom is Charles Emmanuel U, a former national director of guild services of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.

Meanwhile, the guild has sent a condolence message to Mr. Charles over the father's death, urging him to take heart.

The Guild in a condolence message signed by its National President, Ejezie Emeka Rollas said the late Pa Umeanolue will be remembered for the lives he impacted in his community and the society at large.

He said, "As a caring and loving father, he lived an exemplary life that impacted positively on his farnily, community and humanity at large. He would be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

"Though it's very painful losing such a gem at this point in time, we are consoled with the fact that is resting in the bosom of the Lord.

"We pray that God will give you, your family members, friends and all those left behind to mourn her the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

"Please accept our deep heartfelt condolences."
