A renowned stylist and official of the Nigerian Navy, Kauna Jacob has marked her birthday with a visit to orphanage where she said she is being propelled by passion to identify with those in need.

According to her, the passion to lift burden off people's shoulder comes naturally, what she has been doing even from a younger age.

She spoke with newsmen on Friday shortly after her humanitarian outreach at an orphanage in Abuja, the nation's capital on her birthday.

The Adamawa born philanthropist who drips of beauty noted that so many individuals are in need of humanitarian assistance but expressed regret that only few are willing to spare a thought for their starving neighbour.

"The passion to be a burden lifter and a mobiliser of succour has always been there but I only at my adulthood that it is something embedded in me.

"I quite appreciate the fact that a lot of our people, either in the IDP camps, orphanages, at their homes, street or elsewhere are in need of one thing or the other.

"That is where the milk of our human kindness comes to play. One person or government alone cannot reach out to all the needy but if we individually reach out to those around us, there will be a great millage and the world will be better for it.

"A little touch of kindness will go a long way in brightening someone's life, so people must not wait until they have it all" she said.

She called on well-to-do members of the society to join in the campaign to reach out those those in need, either by way of awarding scholarships, donation of relief materials, empowerment opportunities and other widows of humanitarian intervention.

The benefitting orphans at the outreach sang birthday songs for her and wished her success all her endeavours, praying God to bless her for remembering them.

The soft spoken damsel also released amazing birthday photos as she receives loads of birthday wishes and felicitations from friends and well wishers directly and across social media platforms.
