Says Nigerians have shown unmistakable determination to take back their country

The Peter Obi Support Network (POSN) has praised "the uncommon spirit of millions of Nigerians who have continued to demonstrate their unwavering support for the presidential ambition of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, describing them as the true heroes of Nigeria's renaissance."

POSN in a statement issued on Tuesday by its Director of Strategic Communication, Onwuasoanya FCC Jones, explained that "neither Mr. Peter Obi himself or his campaign outfit were privy to the organisation of any of these marches and thanked those behind its organisation for their sacrifices in the march towards bringing Nigeria back from the brink of an imminent collapse."

According to the statement, "From Katsina to Kano, to Kaduna up to Owerri, Lagos, Calabar, Asaba and indeed every part of Nigeria, ordinary Nigerians have risen up to demonstrate their faith in Peter Obi's capacity to rescue Nigeria, they are sending a strong message that indeed, they are the structure.

"At no time in the history of our fledgling democracy have we experienced anything like this. Peter Obi has reactivated the faith of Nigerians in this country. He has inspired them to the knowledge that no one can stop them when they show a determination to stand up for what is right."

The group advised Nigerians to keep the faith and remain orderly as they go about shoring up support and inspiring hope in the Peter Obi candidacy.

"We want to assure Nigerians that their labours shall not be in vain. Peter Obi is irrevocably committed to the project of New Nigeria and as the campaigns formerly kick off, we urge all Obidients to remain steadfast in their faith in our presidential candidate, and never relent in their commitment to taking back Nigeria."
