WhatsApp is back after almost two hours of outage on Tuesday.

We had earlier reported that the instant communication app owned by Meta went down in Nigeria for hours as users were unable to send or receive messages on the app.

WhatsApp outage was noted few minutes past 8:00 Tuesday morning (WAT), according to a report by Punch.

The outage prevented sending messages to groups, while personal messages display only one tick, an indication that they are sent but not delivered.
