The convener/project coordinator African Hair Summit, Adanna Enwezor has been honoured with award of recognition for her contributions towards community development through the natural hair and beauty sector. 

She has also attracted accolades for empowering the girl child through her initiatives Photizo Life Foundation launched since 2016. 

She was recently honoured at the 2022 Miss Intelligence Nigeria pageant show which seeks to promote entrepreneurship among women in Nigeria. 

Her African Hair Summit which took place towards the end of last year seeks to celebrate African heritage, identity and businesses. 

According to Enwezor, a recent research indicates that the hair care market in Africa is poised to grow by over $900m between 2020 - 2024. 

She has consistently advocated that individuals take advantage of the multiple opportunities within the beauty sector in Africa. 

The summit also recognised those who have made outstanding contributions in hair care and beauty industry. 

It brought together participants and vendors. 

On her recent award, she expressed thanks to SRTV MEDIA GROUP, NTA , and the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture for this recognition for their continous partnership.  

She is inviting the general public to the Afro Hair Culture festival taking place on the 1st and 2nd of December and she also states her non-governmental organisation is open to welcome partners to support its projects to create real impact within the society.
