Drum Majors For Peace has announced yet another mind blowing competition to showcase Nigerian talents to the world through THE NEXT RATED DEEJAY COMPETITION (UNITY EDITION)
The winner of the competition goes home with N250,000.00 while the first runner up and the second runner up goes home with N150,000 and N100,000 respectively.
With the aim of promoting Peace and Social Cohesion, Drum Majors For Peace which had recently hosted successful events such as NATIONAL UNITY DANCE CHALLENGE, 3rd Edition of NATIONAL ENTERTAINMENT AND PEACE SUMMIT is equally launching THE NEXT RATED DEEJAY COMPETITION (UNITY EDITION) in collaboration with Bolingo Xperia Hotel, Nigerian Institute of ICT Engineers (NIICTE) and DJs Association Of Nigeria (DJAN) to bring together talented DJs to compete to decide who becomes THE BEST Disc Jockey (DJ), 2022.
The event is scheduled to take place as follows, Date is 8th December, 2022 at Bolingo Xperia Hotel and Towers, 777 independence Avenue, Garki Abuja, Red Capet Starts by 3:00pm.
The event will be graced by great men and women in the entertainment industry and development space including DJ TTB, MTVBASE VDJ, DJ KOOL, President DJAN, DJ RAZEE, Abuja Chapter Chairman of DJAN, Engr. Rev. Dr. Augustine Nwaulune,

THE MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE COMPETITION ARE AS FOLLOWS:
1. To promote creative empowerment
2. To recognize and celebrate the importance of Deejays in the promotion of electoral integrity.
3. To galvanize support for the promotion of peace and social cohesion through music and entertainment and to demonstrate the relevance of the DJs to peace building, tolerance and nation building.
4. To reduce tension before, during and after the forthcoming general elections.
The release calls on stakeholders, brands, private and corporate organizations to collaborate/partner with the organizers in line with goal 17 of the SDGs to make the initiative a reality.
