Notable personalities from across the African continent have been honoured at the just concluded African Humanitarian Actions Conference which assembled leading humanitarian campaigners and agencies in Abuja the capital of Nigeria on Saturday, November 12, 2022. 


Among speakers/awardees include, a Nigerian-American High Chief Dr. Chetachi Nwoga-Ecton a well known global humanitarian and Founder of When In Need Global Foundation (WIN) who is also the keynote speaker.


She was also decorated with the highest recognition of the night African Humanitarian of the Year and she was equally Inducted as Ambassador at Large Global Goodwill Ambassador of Noble Character. 


Also honoured include, H.E. Fatoumatta Bah Barrow, First Lady of Gambia, Amb. Samuel Aryeequaye from Ghana, Hon. Faika Mohammed Ahmad, Honourable Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Zamfara State, Nigeria, Maymouna Nana Gning Senegal/Morocco, Amb. Nenneh Freda Gomez, Gambia, Amb. Triephornia Bender Daza, Malawi Amb. Fantinta Ceesay and many more.

Thirty(30) notable African humanitarians and 5 organizations were equally honored while 10 awardees were inducted as Ambassador At Large Global Goodwill Ambassador for Noble Character members.


Speaking with the newsmen shortly after the event, Dr. Amb. Chris Oko Odey the Global President and Ambassador at Large Global Goodwill Ambassador of Noble Character said the Africa Humanitarian Actions Conference is a platform dedicated to enhancing and promoting conversations on public private partnership. 


He said it is aimed at improving Africa’s humanitarian services between donor agencies and NGOs and to bring about Economic Prosperity. 


The conference he said runs as an Africa-focused platform that creates space for the discussion of key prospects and strategies that aims to influence the growth and development of the continent. 

"We are a multi-faceted organization that enhances partnership between the private and public sector in promoting reforms and programs that seek to enhance Africa’s competitiveness in the global economy.


"The Forum provides a platform for the exchange of ideas among top Africa’s humanitarian service providers and international donor agencies from various sectors and disciplines. The conference welcomes other contributors working on Africa or those undertaking research and comparative analysis of global issues for the development of Africa. The conference also welcomes partners across disciplines and boundaries to form a synergistic think-tank aimed at proffering insights into possible solutions for service deliveries and policy making for stakeholders and government in advancing the African continent" he said. 


The conference which also coincided with the 10th year anniversary celebration of the organisation availed participants of opportunity to learn from an Unparalleled roster of World class humanitarians and wealth creator thought mentors as well as opportunity to network with other senior executives from across all industries.
