A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba has defended Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s gaffe during his presidential campaign flag-off.
Recall, the ruling APC kicked off its presidential campaign today, Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at the Rawang Pam Township Stadium in Jos, Plateau State.

The former Governor of Lagos state while speaking at the event, wanted to say ‘God bless APC’ but committed a blunder as he ended up saying ‘God bless PD” before correcting himself.

“God bless Nigeria, God bless PD, APC,” he said.

In a tweet accompanied by a video on his Twitter page on Wednesday, Garba argued that Tinubu’s mistake of referring to APC as PDAPC was a strategic approach.

The former presidential aspirant stated that Tinubu had been preparing for the presidential office for almost 30 years, hence, the reason for the slip-up.

He, however, condemned the public criticism of the gaffe as irresponsible, stating that half of the PDP members are working for the success of the APC candidate.

“God bless PDAPC was a parabolic communication to those in the PDP that are tirelessly working for the success of APC. Tinubu is a genius!” he wrote.
