A musical performance group based in Abuja, Shyne Band has been honoured with the prestigious award of “Band of the Year" award organised by Abuja Entertanment & Meritorious Awards.
The group prides itself as Best Live Band in Abuja and Northern Nigeria, consistently and creatively raising the bar in the live music industry through excellent vocal and instrumental performance and high definition sound production.
Shyne Band was nominated along with Jojo Band, Sweet Sound Entertainment and Diamond Band.
It won in an online electioneering exercise where fans voted for the band massively.
"We dedicate this award to God almighty.. To all supporters, event planners, booking agents, our partners, fans and well wishers… and most importantly our clients" the band said in a statement.
The group said the award is one of the many high points it has been blessed to record this year 2022.
"We are motivated even more to work harder to keep raising the standards, Thanks to God. Thanks to everyone that voted for us" it added.
The group also sends special thanks to partners Get Multimedia and all the bands putting in work and taking the sector to the forefront.
