The Chief Executive Officer of JOI'S, Omogie Joy will join other eminent Nigerians in receiving Food Heroes Award in Abuja on Saturday, February 4, 2023.


The award seeks to honour men and women who labour day and night to make sure Nigerian people have food and drinks on their tables despite the rising hunger that has affected nearly 10% of the global population. 


It is designed to celebrate Chefs, Restaurant Owners, Lounge Owners, Food Vendors, Food Processors, Farmers, Suppliers, water, drinks, beverages manufacturers and Government Agencies who labour to ensure that we achieve goals 1, 2, 3 & 17 (No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Good health and Wellbeing and Partnership for the Goals) of the SDGs respectively.

Joy a top model has been an ambassador to several brands and has continued to hold her entrepreneurial skills high. 


The ex-beauty queen is a popular food vendor who is into array of small chops, including chicken samosa, chicken spring roll, beef samosa, beef spring roll, vegetable samosa, vegetable spring roll, moneybag, puff puff, chicken, beef and more. 


She is believed to have been consistent for years as an entrepreneur which has earned her nomination for this prestigious award. 


The event comes up on February 4, 2023 at Bolingo Xperia Hotel Abuja. Time is 4pm.


It is being organised by Drum Majors For Peace in collaboration with Bolingo Xperia Hotel Abuja.
