A middle age Yoruba lady named withheld is now lying critically ill following a third degree burnt she suffered this morning in Byazhin Area of Kubwa after her over five years love affairs went sour with her man friend.


The man and the Lady in their early 30s from the South West part of the country have been co-habiting, enjoying conjugal affairs meant for married couples before fight broke out this morning.


Our correspondent learnt that for the past few weeks, it has been fight today and tomorrow between the duo possibly over the seemingly “looking outside” for another side chicks and other mistresses by the man.


Their one room apartment and the apartment of the landlord of the house located near Famous private school in Byazhin however suffered the greatest loss this Sunday morning as the Lady (now unconscious) in Kubwa general hospital, locked herself inside the apartment in order to escape been driven away by the guy who was ready to chase her out.


She reportedly set fire on the room which later extended to other parts of the bungalow building including the landlord apartment where he kept textbooks and exercise books worth millions of naira. The landlord was said to be a publisher and run a bookshop there.


We gathered that it took frantic efforts of the ‘supposed’ guy man and neighbours to break into the apartment and rescued the unconscious lady and rushed her to the general hospital. The FCT Fire Service were at hand to put out the inferno.


The Byazhin Divisional Police station has since arrested the man and detained him as investigations çontinued.


Efforts to get the reaction of the police and the landlord wailing over the loss of his means of livelihood prooved abortive.


The lady that was burnt beyond recognition is now unconscious and was rushed to kubwa general hospital. The lover is detained at Byazhin police station.
