Ahead of a successful general election in Nigeria beginning on February 25 2023 with the presidential and National Assembly elections, an International Non Governmental Organizations, DECENCY PAN AFRICA YOUTH EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVE is organizing a one-day Youth Voters Awareness conference on Tuesday January 17th 2023.


Stakeholders in a peaceful and orderly conduct of 2023 Election would gather at Nuggets Hotel, Utako for the Conference with the theme: “The Role of Youth in Fair, Credible and Non violent election in Africa”.


The conference which starts by 9 am would last till 5 pm under the chairmanship of Hon. Micah Jibah, Honourable Member representing AMAC/Bwari of the Federal Capital Territory in the House of Representatives.


The Namibian Ambassador to Nigeria, Ambassador Humphrey Desmond Geiseb will deliver goodwill message at the conference.


“How to ensure peaceful election in Nigeria’ would be delivered by the AU Youth Ambassador for Peace, Ms Khouloud Baghouri is part of the papers to be presented at the one-day conference.


The Conference is jointly sponsored by Your Trusted News Blog – DECENCY GLOBAL NEWS, Progressive Movement 4 Better NIgeria, (PM4BN), and NIgeria Union of Journalists, (NUJ) among others.


Prominent among the panelists that would feature in the Conference were, NUJ FCT Chairman, Emmanuel Ogbeche; Hon. Dosso Kassimou from New York, USA; Mr Peter Sympathy Ezekeli, Diaspora Coordinator of PM4BN, Dr Tanya Atany Kagnaguine from South Africa, and Mrs Magdalene Aku, INEC official on Voters’ education, among other prominent international guests. Lady Njideka Eze popularly known as Lady Decency would give the welcome address.


The organizers have urged promoters of credible and violent free 2023 Election to attend the conference.
