The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has given reason for current poor supply in Abuja and other neighbouring states.

The company, in a public notice shared on his social media page on Saturday, blamed the poor power supply on insufficient load allocation received.

The public notice read :

: “This is to inform our esteemed customers that we are aware of the decline in power supply across our franchise areas.

” This is due to the insufficient load allocation received, hence we are compelled to load shed power temporarily across the different areas.

” While we sincerely regret the inconvenience caused, we appeal for your patience as we are in collaboration with all our stakeholders to ensure power supply is improved and stabilised soonest.”
