Valentine Onuigbo, the Chairman of the Labour Party (LP) in the Karshi district of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has died.
In the early hours of Saturday, family members discovered him dead in his sleep.
According to Tribune Online, the party boss coordinated the party’s pre-election activities until late Friday night and was said to be looking forward to the start of voting on Saturday.
His body has now been deposited in the Mutuary of Asokoro Hospital in the nation’s capital.
