All is now set for conferment of the prestigious honour of patriot award on renowned philanthropist, Hon. Chief Dr. Amb. Mmerigwo Henry Iyke, popularly known as Onwa Na Alaife (Ife Na La Ife).
The event comes up on Feb. 11, 2023 at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island Lagos.
It will coincide with the premier of the movie, "The Pledge" a production of Tagwaye Charity Foundation by Prince UC Ingawa
"The Pledge" which still having it's private screening section is a movie which seeks to foster national unity, peaceful coexistence and the spirit of brotherhood.
The movie which features among other top stars, Pete Edochie had earlier premiered in Abuja at Transcorp Hilton Hotel with music, comedy, dance and poems as side attraction.
The producer and lead organiser of the award ceremony, Prince UC Ingawa had presented Hon. Chief. Dr. Amb. Mmerigwo Henry Iyke with his nomination kits in readiness for the event which is expected to attract the high and mighty.
Top personalities, including business executives will be present while movie and music stars as well as top comedians to thrill the audience.
Hon. Chief. Dr. Amb. Henry Iyke is reputed to have touched the lives of many in his community and around towns and cities in the South East and Niegria in general.
The award selection and screening committee said nominees were qualified on the basis of their philanthropic and Patriotism activities.
