Multi-millionaire Business mogul, Real Estate magnet and food specialist, Prince Don Okonkwo has called for a peaceful and violent-free elections as Nigeria elects new president and members of the National Assembly on Saturday. 


He urged Nigerians to go out in their large numbers to participate in the exercise which he said will be a defining moment for the country. 


Okonkwo, a former governorship aspirant in Anambra state in a statement on Friday noted that electioneering periods avail the people opportunity to take decisive action on the choice of their leaders. 


He also applauded President Muhammadu Buhari for creating a conducive atmosphere to ensure credibility and trust in Nigeria's electoral process with the signing of the Electoral Act Amendment of 2022. 


He said, "The Saturday's presidential and National Assembly elections is yet another opportunity for our people to exercise their democratic rights by voting candidates of their choice at the polls. 


"Interestingly, critical stakeholders, particularly the electoral umpire INEC and security agencies have indicated readiness to hold the elections. Thanks to President Muhammadu Buhari for making the Electoral Act Amendment a reality which has further enhanced the confidence of the Nigerian people. 


"i implore all patriots eligible for the process to make utmost use of this opportunity to make a decisive statement on their choice of leaders for the country's good", he said.
