All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu has been warned to watch out for betrayal of Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State .
A socio-political activist and convener of Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju, gave the warning in a tweet on Saturday.
According to him, if the Kaduna state governor can allegedly betrayed President Muhammadu Buhari, he will do same to Tinubu.
He tweeted, “El-Rufai will still betray Tinubu at the right time. Buhari is learning new lessons. He hasn’t even left Aso Rock yet but they are already showing him the kind of ‘shege’ to expect. Power is always transient.”
El-Rufai, who is a known close ally of Buhari for the past seven and half years, had recently publicly lashed out at the decision of the president to outlaw the use of old N500 and N1,000 notes.
In a statewide broadcast, he condemned Buhari for overruling the ruling of Supreme Court on the issue, calling on Kaduna residents to continue use the old notes as legal tender.
