The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) says there will be power supply disruption in Garki 2 and some other areas of Abuja on 18 March, 2023.


AEDC, which made this known in a public notice issued late on Friday, said the power supply disruption is as a result of vegetation control exercise billed to take place on Saturday.


The public notice read:


“The Management of Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc. (AEDC) wishes to inform its esteemed customers in Abuja residing at Garki 2, Garki Village, Part of Area 11, NTA Headquarters, Apo Legislative Quarters, Trademore Estate, CBN Quarters, Part of Sunnyvale, Brains and Hammers, Paradise Estate, Yayale Ahmed Estate, Behind Apo Transmission, Zone E Extension, AEDC Apo Regional Office, Zone C and its environs that our team of engineers will be carrying out a vegetation control exercise on the 33kV Feeder serving these areas tomorrow Saturday, 18th March, 2023 from 10am to 2pm.

While regret the inconvenience, please be assured that it is intended to improve power supply and ensure better service delivery.
