Operatives of the Benin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 15 suspected internet fraudsters in Benin city, Edo State.
This was disclosed via the agency’s Facebook page on Friday.
A Mercedes Benz C350, Lexus ES 300, Lexus RX 330, mobile phones, and Laptops were recovered from the suspects.

The statement read, “The suspects were arrested in an early morning operation following actionable intelligence on their alleged criminal activities.
They are Luck Igbinosa, Godwin Destiny, Sylvanus Godgift, Davidson Enabule, Anugeh Michael, Favour Uwaifo, Osemwengie Osarenmwinda, Prince Chukwuka and Liro Nwanochie.
” Others are Uwaifo Osamudiamen, Christopher Dickson, Ehis Samson, Wisdom Peter, Akesuwa Kelvin and Godstime Okolie.
” Items recovered from them include one Mercedes Benz C350, one Lexus ES 300 and one Lexus RX 330, mobile phones and Laptops.
“The suspects have made useful statements and will be charged to court.”
