The people of Ogugu in Olamaboro local government area of Kogi state will soon heave a sigh of relief as the FCT Minister of State, Hajiya Ramatu Tijjani-Aliyu has commenced plan to repair the dilapidated cottage hospital sited in the community. 

Ogugu is the home of the deputy governor of Kogi State, Chief Edward Onoja. 

The Minister was responding to an appeal by Dr Sulaiman Adejoh, the National president of the messengers of peace a humanitarian organization who have been heloing humanity and promoting peaceful coexistence in nigeria the,the SOS was sent in the ogugu united forum the winner of The Best Grassroots NGO in Nigeria at the 2020 National Peace Awards organized by the Messengers of Peace Foundation in Abuja. 

He had called on well-meaning sons and daughters of Ogugu in Nigeria and diaspora to assist in renovating the hospital and other infrastructures in the community , accusing the state government of Kogi of abandoning the facility. 

The Minister, who has taken up the responsibility of rebuilding the health centre, hails from Kogi State and doubles as the Grand Matron Messengers of Peace.

A Facebook user, Michael Sam Idoko, wrote, "This is the only Government Cottage Hospital in Ogugu Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi 

"If you were born in this hospital during the good old days of the hospital, this was the theatre you were born in.

"This is the current State of the Only Hospital in the Community of the Deputy Governor of Kogi State." 

The hospital, though still offering skeletal services, is located in a dilapidated structure with worn-out fittings. The Fct minster of state have promised to compliment the in going effort of the federal inland revenue who are on ground helping with the diagnostic center.Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu is a woman with the heart of Gold.
