A chieftain of All Progressives Congress APC, Multi-millionaire Business mogul, Real Estate magnet and food specialist, Prince Don Okonkwo has congratulated the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on his re-election for another term in office.


The governor in a gubernatorial election on Saturday defeated his closest rival, Labour Party candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivor who came a distant second.


In a congratulatory message on Sunday, Prince Okonkwo said the re-election of Sanwo-Olu is a clear testimony to his popularity among the people of Lagos especially with the track record of excellence he has set in the past four years.


According to Prince Okonkwo Lagosians have made a decisive decision by choosing the path of continuity which has witnessed massive transformation in infrastructure, social amenities and economic revitalisation.


"The re-election of His Excellency Babajide Sanwo-Olu is no doubt a clear testimony to his undeniable popularity which has seen him pilot the state on the path of greatness in all areas of economy — transportation, sports, entertainment, education and urban renewal.


"The continuity agenda shall once again avail Lagos the opportunity of setting the pace in development as the nation's commercial capital and the country's gateway.


"I congratulate Gov. Sanwo-Olu and the people of Lagos for consolidating on the solid foundation laid by past administration which the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu was the pillar', he said.


Prince Don Okonkwo, who was a former Anambra Governorship Aspirant and currently the Honorary Counsel of Congo DRC to Nigeria, is the Chairman/CEO of Tettrazzini Group PLC, Director of ZZINI Media and a couple of other leading companies
