The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Health Monitoring and Coordinator of the Delta State Health Monitoring Team, Dr Michael Nwoko has said that the governance of the State is on a Trajectory, adding that the path of leadership of the State re-energizes continuity and sustainability of legacy of development with a well defined agenda.
The SSA who also served as Deputy Director General of the Aniocha North PDP Campaign Council, took time to navigate through his argument recently among a few journalists in the State, where he unequivocally scored his principal, Senator Okowa excellence in all ramifications of governance and performance.
He affirmed that Okowa had kept that path of leadership with the gravitating force which the PDP had provided over the years, maintaining that such Trajectory would be difficult to be broken.
He further explained his point by acknowledging the enormous infrastructural, human capital, peace and security gains the State had made under the prudent and astute administrations of Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan and Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa as Governors, affirming that such gains would be multiplied following same Trajectory in the administration of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as Governor.
Dr Nwoko also known as the Political Oshobe due to his sagacity and grassroots mobilisation prowess, in an apparent understanding of the system, revealed the underlying secret of the MORE Agenda of Okowa's successor and Governor-Elect, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
He said that Oborevwori is coming with a social welfare programme that would place Deltans on the pedestal of living in prosperity like their counterparts in most states of the wealthy oil producing nations.
"The man Sheriff Oborevwori as Governor of Delta State, will replicate more of what the outgoing SMART administration of Senator Okowa has done.
"That is the Trajectory we are talking about. Governor Okowa having gravitated so much force in the system from where Governor Uduaghan stopped, the incoming Governor leveraging on that privileged legacy will have no choice but to perform more and achieve more for Deltans.
"No doubt, with the capacity, credentials and character that the Governor-Elect possesses, based on his antecedents, he will do more like he has promised in his blueprint and social contract with the people of Delta State.
"Truly, the Governance of Delta State is on a Trajectory, because of the well defined direction of leadership. Good luck to our incoming Governor and success in the future endeavour of our outgoing Governor", Dr. Nwoko submitted.
