The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) says it will on Saturday 13 May, 2023, interupt power supply to Asokoro and Garki areas for several hours.
The electricity company which made this known in public notice sighted by PlatinumPost on Saturday morning, said the move is to allow for a construction of a new distribution line in the area.
It reads : “The Management of Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc. (AEDC) wishes to inform its esteemed customers that ourteam of engineers will be constructing a new line today, Saturday 13th May, 2023 between 9am and 5pm towards improving electricity reliability.
” The outage will interrupt power supply to customers resident in Garki 2, the entire Asokoro and environs.
” We regret all inconveniences caused by this activity.”
