Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has revealed one of the major things Nigerians should be ever grateful to ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
Fani-Kayode, who is a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, said Atiku – the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the February 25 election, would always be remembered for single-handedly destroying PDP beyond redemption .
The firebrand Fani-Kayode stated this in a post on his verified social media pages on Friday.
His words : “One thing we can’t take from Atiku Abubakar , the Waziri Adamawa, is the fact that he single-handedly did what no-one else managed to do since 1999: he murdered & buried the PDP & ensured that it can NEVER be resurrected or rise again. For this alone Nigeria owes him a debt of gratitude.”
Abujapress reports that Fani-Kayode was a strong member of the PDP who defected to the ruling APC before the 2023 general elections.
