A graduate of University of Abuja (UniAbuja), Aisha Ali-Gombe, has been appointed as the director of Cybersecurity Clinic at the Louisiana State University, United States.


Abujapress reports that Aisha, an associate professor of Computer Science and Engineering, graduated as best student in the Department of Computer Science of UniAbuja in 2004.


She was selected for the new role at the University, where she lectures by management of the institution.


The position was put in place following the United States National Security Agency grant of $1.5million to the Cybersecurity Clinic.


Her expertise and research interest in cybersecurity and digital forensics include code fingerprinting, malware analysis, privacy policy enforcement techniques, mobile security and memory & database forensics.


Abujapress reports that UniAbuja has of over the recent years churned out some quality graduates that have continued to make positive impact in the society.
