The body of a yet-to-be-identified man who jumped into the lagoon in the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge area of Lagos State has been recovered.


This was confirmed on Thursday by the Head, Public Education of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Services, Amodu Shakiru.


“Body from Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge recovered dead. Details soon, please,” he wrote in a terse statement.


Platinumpost reported on Tuesday that a man who has yet to be identified has jumped into the  Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge water.


Eyewitnesses along the route corroborated the occurrence.


Onlookers have besieged the spot to see how they can put up rescue efforts, as at the time of filling this report.
