The award ceremony took place in Abuja where other eminent Nigerians were also honoured. The awardees emerged through a 7-Day nationwide online poll monitored by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Amechi who has a natural affinity for real estate was nominated along with Bamidele Onalaja, Kennedy Okoruwa and Umar Abdullahi and he emerged winner.
