The long-awaited Strategic Outreach Support (SOS) charity gala and award night has come and gone with notable personalities honoured for their contributions towards nation-building. 


SOS says the achievements of the awardees align with its core values, vision, mission, and goals. 


Those who won big at the event at International Conference Centre Abuja include, CEO, Human Rights Radio, Abuja, Dr. Ahmad Isah, a former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Prince (Dr.) Adetokunbo Kayode SAN, CON, hip-hop star, Innocent Idibia popularly known as Tubaba who won SOS Harmony through Music Award and Ramsey Nouah who won the SOS Celebrity Harmony Ambassador Award. 


Ahmad Isah won SOS Inspirational Advocate Award, while ex-AGF Kayode won the SOS Humanitarian Award. 


Strategic Outreach Support (SOS) is a tax-exempt organizaton with a global vision of creating self-reliant societies where individuals and communites can harness their inner potentials. 

With headquarters in the United States, it has a presence in over 300 communities worldwide, and has been making remarkable strides since its establishment in 2016. 


Its primary vision and mission is to implement strategies and foster partnerships that provide sustainable development solutons to vulnerable populations and communities, while objective is anchored on ending poverty, eradicatng hunger, ensuring food security, promoting sustainable agriculture and fostering inclusive economic growth, amongst others, he stated at the conference. 


Others who won at the charity gala and award night include, Alh. Ibrahim Aliyu, Chairman, Dixxy Foods Ltd. (The SOS Empowerment Champion Award), Dr. Umar Abdul Mutallab CON. Chairman, Jaiz Bank Plc, Malam Ibrahim Aliyu Chairman Urban Shelter Ltd, Dr. Fabian Nwaora CON, Chairman Nwaora Group of Companies, Alh. Dr. Umar Kwairanga, Chairman at NGX and Mr. Scott Tommey CEO, Osmosrve Global Limited.

The rest include, Nasiru Haladu Danu Foundation who won SOS Care Foundation Award, Mohammed Obike Chairman/CEO Ashburton Global Services, Abuja, who won Tlthe SOS Outstanding Partnership Award, Channels Television, which won the SOS Outstanding News Broadcasting Award, Mr. Funny (Oga Sabinus) who won the SOS Comedic Performance Excellence Award, Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja, which won the SOS Excellence in Hospitality Award and Chidi Cyprian Agha, CEO Skaldon International Ltd, who won the SOS Prowess Excellence Award.


The well attended event which was hosted by veteran Nollywood actor Francis Duru,  witnessed the thrilling performances from Tubaba, Atela Francis, Jarell Ebuka, MC Bob & Mc Shortcut and many more.
