Over 240 shops where turned into production centres for large-scale adulteration of beverages and drugs.

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has busted fake wine factories in Abia State and also shut the markets.

This is according to the Director of the South-East Zone of NAFDAC Martins Iluyomade who said the move followed a raid on Monday.
