Guinea-Bissau head coach, Baciro Cande says his side will give their all against Nigeria, Abujapress reports.

The Djurtus are winless at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations with defeats to hosts Cote d’Ivoire and Equatorial Guinea in their opening two games

Cande’s side now needs to beat the Super Eagles to have any chance of making the Round of 16.

“We have one game left to close the group stage and we hope to win,” Cande said after his side’s defeat to Equatorial Guinea on Thursday.

Nigeria and Guinea- Bissau met in the qualifiers with both countries enjoying a win each.

The Djurtus stunned the Super Eagles 1-0 in Abuja while the latter avenged the defeat in Bissau.

The two teams will clash at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan next week Tuesday.
