Hope Uzodimma has taken the oath of office for a second term as Imo State governor, just a few months after winning the election.


The governor was sworn in at 3:24 p.m. at the Dan Ayiam Stadium in Owerri, the Imo state capital.


Monday’s event had in attendance President Bola Tinubu, ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo; the Senate President Godswill Akpabio; the Speaker of the House of Representative Tajudeen Abbas, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and other All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftains were among those in attendance.
