On Tuesday, President Bola Tinubu, General Yakubu Gowon, a previous head of state, and other former leaders attended the book launch ceremony in Abuja to honor Nigeria’s immediate President Muhammadu Buhari.

Former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former First Lady Aisha Buhari, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and several other officials were also in attendance.

According to The Nation, the book penned by Femi Adesina will be distributed with five volumes of another book titled Muhammadu Buhari: The Nigerian Legacy, 2015-2023.

This would be President Muhammadu Buhari’s first formal visit to the federal capital since he left at the conclusion of his term as President on May 29th, last year.

It will be one of the rare times where the current president, who is the special guest of honour, and the past president, will appear together publicly since the handover of May 29.

Ministers from President Buhari’s federal cabinet, as well as senior presidential aides, are in attendance for the book launch, which is taking place at the Transcorp Hilton hotel in Abuja’s conference hall.
