Temitayo Olufisayo Olaoluwa Aina popularly known as Ola Aina is a professional footballer who plays as a full-back for Premier League club Nottingham Forest. He plays for the Nigeria national team.

1. Aina was born born 8 October 1996 in Southwark, London, England to his Nigerian parents.

2. Aina has a brother, Jordan, who is currently playing for Fulham Academy.

3. Aina signed with Chelsea U-11 and made his debut as a schoolboy in the 2012-13 season, he represented Chelsea in U-18, U-19 U-21, and U-23 levels. He played with the youth team until 2016.

4. Aina’s first match came in a pre-season against AFC Wimbledon replacing Todd Kane.

5. Aina later made his debut in the Premier League over Leicester City with a 3-0 victory replacing Victor Moses. He was also the reserve member of the team that won Premier League (2016-2017).

6. On July 11, 2017, Aina loaned to Hull City until May 31, 2018, and made his debut against Aston Villa in a 1-1 draw.

7. In May 2017, Aina pledged his international future to Nigeria and obtained a Nigerian passport in preparation to making the switch from England to Nigeria.

8. On October 7, 2017, he made his international debut for National team for Nigeria. For the nation, he earned 3 international caps since 2017.

9. On February 2, 2019, Aina scored his first goal for Torino against Udinese. Aina made 30 Serie A appearances for Torino.

10. On 25 December 2021, he was named in Nigeria’s 28-man squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations by interim coach Eguavoen.
