Abujapress reports that Nigeria’s Super Eagles will confronts hosts, Elephant of the Ivory Coast in the final of the continental tournament scheduled for Sunday.

The decision of Tinubu to be at the AFCON final was made known in a post by Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday, which cited comment credited to President of the Confederation of African Football.

“The President of the Confederation of African Football, Patrice Motsepe, just announced that President Boko Tinubu will be watching the AFCON final live in Abidjan, on Sunday, February 11, 2024. Excellent encouragement and inspiration for the Super Eagles. I wish Dr. Motsepe had not let the cat out of the bag. It would have been better as a surprise. Nevertheless, it is a good development, and Nigeria has worked hard for victory. We wish the Super Eagles all the best on Sunday,” he said.
